MLSA Receives Innovative Community Improvement Award

Citing Montana Legal Services Association's (MLSA) technology and service delivery innovations to improve Montana communities, the Montana Board of Crime Control (MBCC) presented the 2014 Innovative Community Improvement Award to MLSA during MBCC's annual Crime Prevention Conference on October 8, 2014.

The award is given to individuals or organizations that have made impacting and lasting contributions through specific campaigns or programs to promote or support significant improvements within their communities, such as improving quality of life, reducing the fear of crime, or providing measurable positive results.

State of Montana Office of Consumer Protection and Victim Services Director Matthew Dale nominated MLSA for this year's award and MLSA staff were on hand at the conference banquet to receive the award.
